Sparbankshuset, also known as Gruts House after the Danish architect Torben Grut, has long been a place where meaningful things have happened. Today, it is being shaped into a professional community for the next generation of relationships and ideas.
Completed in 1917, Gruts House has since served as a hub for innovators, entrepreneurs, and those who, in one way or another, have helped shape Umeå.
For that reason, the building remains a natural meeting place for people who build, create, and develop.
Gruts Work is the part of the building dedicated to bringing together, inspiring, and supporting the growth of both current and future generations of innovators and pioneers.
